A short while before Christmas, I headed over to Lousã to check out some of the walking options over that way.
My neighbours Jon & Phil recommended I check out Lousã castle.
There’s a nice looking circuit walk you can do here, but it was raining, I hadn’t worn any outdoor gear and I was only really killing a bit of time having a nosey for future biking or hiking options.
This circuit walk is definitely one to come back to do when it’s warmer, drier and there’s no chance of getting infected with the lurgy…
There are a few schist villages on the route too, so it looks promising.
So for any visitors planning to come over my way, we’ll definitely be doing this, or at least having a look at the castle if you’re not up for the hike!
